Mending Custom Clothing Alterations - Patches Sewn - Buttons Replaced - Sustainable Fashion - Mend What You Own

This is a listing for a mending or alteration service, provided by me. You send me your articles of clothing that need visible or hidden mending, new buttons sewn on, pants hemmed, or shirts taken in or cropped! Please add to your cart each service that you’d like to complete, listed below. Each button or patch or visible mend, is considered a service. For instance, if you have two visible knee patches, each one will be $20. You may also send multiple pieces of clothing. please include instructions for me, so I know what repairs and alterations to provide. Email me with any questions, and I will also communicate via email to ensure your order is accurate.

Visible mending - please provide me with a list of favorite colors, fabric choices, and favorite motifs. I will do my best to accommodate. This includes a patch on the front of the garment, in contrasting fabric, with hand-stitched over the top. This is perfect for knees on pants, elbow patches on sweaters or jackets, and even covering a small logo on a tee or sweatshirt.

Hidden mending - this is a suggestion for the butt of jeans, or anywhere you would rather have the mend blend in to the garment. A patch is placed at the back of the garment fabric, and several reinforcement stitches on the front. 

Large patch or tee-shirt graphic - These are items that you provide me, and I will stitch onto the garment you also provide.  If you have a denim jacket, a flannel, or even a sweatshirt which is looking a little bare, let’s combine it will a back patch or your favorite tee, and create something new! I can also create a quilty patch for you!

Buttons replaced - I will sew on or reinforce buttons for you, on shirts and skirts. Please send your garment and any extra buttons you might have received with garment. If you don’t have the exact buttons, I will match as closely as I can with my stash. 

Pants hemmed or shirts cropped - I can shorten your pants hem. Please try on your pants and apply a safety pin where you would like the bottom hem to be. This needs to be only on one pant leg, and I can apply measurement to both. Same for a shirt, please mark with a safety pin where you would like the new hem to be. 

Once your garment is completed, I will create a listing for you, with any add-ons or remaining balances, as well as shipping options. I ship out the next business day after payment is complete. Thank you for trusting me with your treasured garments, and keeping clothing out of landfills!
