This is a listing for a one of a kind quilt featuring a crescent moon design. I created a pieced moon design of my very own, and this is the result!
There are seven stars clustered about the quilt, pieced from scraps. The background fabric is a mixture of vintage and new fabrics, in deep blues. The moon itself is a patchwork of yellow and white. Moon has been hand-stitched with embroidery thread. All squares are machine-stitched down for added security. Backing is a very fuzzy and cuddly taupe, and binding is scrappy!
Perfect for a throw quilt, on a bed, couch, or your favorite chair. Comfort levels have been thoroughly tested by my animal kids, and my cat perfectly posed as I was laying out the blocks. Measures 50 x 66 inches, and weighs almost 3 pounds.
Recommended display options: I have used thumb tacks right through the top corners, and top middle to secure to the wall. You can even put command hooks on the wall, and safety pin through the quilt, then hook safety pin to command hook to leave no damage to your walls or art.
